ChainPoint is a complete set of applications upon which organisations can improve and maintain their communication with each other.



Data Collection
ChainPoint brings relevant details together from a range of different sources - for example, all details throughout a company that are necessary for a satisfactory Risk Assessment of a final product, including lab results and product details. Authorised users have access to all gathered details via a secure internet connection.

Often many details reside in systems specific to each company. If you want to bring these details together, ChainPoint offers automatic procedures that let you bring details into the Chainpoint database. You can also manually add details via ChainPoint’s user-friendly web interface.

Data Management
Chainfood has developed the ChainPoint database to bring details from different sources together whilst retaining the relationships between those details. This is important for, among other things, traceability along a chain. ChainPoint is based upon secure web technology, meaning that you don’t need to install any local software applications. The web application and all details are managed in a secure location of your choice.

Reporting and Analysis
ChainPoint provides extensive analysis and reporting, from standard reports to flexible analysis. Customers use these features, for example, to automatically indicate when process tolerances are exceeded.

Information Distribution
Your ability to react to situations within a chain is greatly increased when information is quickly, fully and automatically distributed. ChainPoint makes information available according to your needs via a web portal, email or fax. In this way, a Quality Manager can receive, for example, a warning if a given value falls outside expected boundaries.
